• OpenGL : tends to be more compatible with a wider range of Android devices than other backends, such as Vulkan, especially on devices with older GPUs or less Vulkan support.
• Vulkan : designed to take full advantage of hardware capabilities, especially on modern multi-core processors and GPUs. Vulkan often provides more stable results in complex or demanding games compared to other backends. Certain games that may struggle with OpenGL tend to run smoother on Vulkan.
• Software : used for maximum accuracy when Vulkan or OpenGL has rendering issues, although the performance is much heavier because it uses the CPU instead of the GPU.

How To Install Aethersx2

1. First of all, of course you have to download the aethersx2 application, bios and games. After downloading, you can immediately install and open the application. After opening it then select next.

2. Here there is an FAQ that you can read first, then select next.

3. In the third step here there are several options, select Optimal/Safe if your device has high end specifications and select Fast/unsafe if your device has specs Low End.

4. In the fourth step, you select import bios.

5. Select one of the bios that you downloaded earlier.

6. Check that the bios is active, and click next.

7. The fourth step is to add the game that was downloaded earlier.

8. Select Game Directory.

9. Select Next.

10. Select Game.

11. Setup Complete, Click Finish.

GPU Rendering

You should set the graphics renderer in the aethersx2 emulator settings, to optimize the hardware and aethersx2.

• Snapdragon : we recommend using the OpenGL graphics renderer on Snapdragon devices as it has proven to be more optimal on Andreno GPU.
• Mediatek : For devices with mediatek processors, we recommend using the Vulkan graphics renderer, which has been proven to be more optimal and maximal on Mali GPU.

Does aethersx2 support 32bit?

we only support arm64 (64 bit) architecture so you can't use aethersx2 to 32bit devices. but sometimes I see someone porting it to 32bit architecture in the favebook community, but it's not official and developed by the community.
